I don’t know how this happens, but every once in a while (especially when my husband is traveling), my to-do list spirals out of control.
I write down my list of things to do each week on my calendar on the day I expect to be able to get it done…..
Inevitably, I try to pack way too much into each day and end up “carrying over” tons of to-dos from one week to the next, barely able to hold down the mountain of undone to-dos by completing a couple outstanding tasks each day.
I can’t be the only one, right?!!
Enter: Keeping Track of Everything on a To Do List!
Well today I decided I need a more formal system to keep track of my to-dos, especially one that doesn’t require me to constantly reference my daily planner.
I am going to start keeping my to do list right on my counter where I can see it every morning.
For that, I need a template, so I went hunting online and found several free and printable cute to-do list templates.
I thought I’d share them here for all the other moms with jam packed schedules who might need one as well.
Free To Do List Templates – Cute & Modern Patterns
- Cute & Colorful To Do List Template – Here’s one of my own – a colorful, modern printable to-do list. This one would be best if you can print in color, but it would still be pretty in black and white. I have a notepad in this pattern and color scheme, so I thought it would be cute to have a coordinating to do list! I’m going to wait to print this one when I have some color ink (kind of don’t buy that very often around here).
- Goal-Crushing To Do List – Abby over at Just a Girl and Her Blog has so many free printables, and this is one of my favorites! It’s a super cute & colorful to-do list template with time slots so you can ACTUALLY PLAN on when you’re going to get everything done! You can print out this day-by-day checklist on a full sheet of regular paper. I plan on using it for my busiest days when I need to know what I’m doing hour by hour. My current daily planner doesn’t have hourly increments, and I really miss that feature sometimes!
- Clean Design for Your To-Dos – Although I ended up using the printable from 20 Packs of Paper above, the “To Do Itinerary” from Get Buttoned Up comes in at a close second for me. I like the clean, straightforward design and how it has LOTS of lines because I have TONS to DO!!!!!
Sanity for the List Maker
So there you have it, three awesome FREE printable to do lists you can use to organize your busy life! If I didn’t have a way to write down everything on my mind, I would probably go crazy.
The only problem is, I have a tendency to forget about something once it’s on the list because I know I can always reference the list; HOWEVER, things have a tendency to get lost around here, so I’m always a tad bit worried I won’t be able to find my list when I need it.
Maybe someone needs to make me a special indestructive, tamper-proof case for my handwritten lists?! :=)

Great list of printables! The thing with to do lists is you have to remember to make the list…that’s what I need to work on! 🙂 Have a great weekend! #SITSBlogging

I would far rather make lists all day than actually do any work on my list!! Thanks for sharing this, now I can make myself “busy” with printing them all and not actually accomplishing anything. LOL
