I’m excited to announce…WhatMommyDoes has entered the Yakezie challenge!
What’s a Yakezie, you ask? Well, Yakezie is a community for people who blog about personal finance. My site is heavy on financial advice for moms, so I decided to join the Yakezie family to push my blog to the next level.
What Does This Mean for WhatMommyDoes?
As part of the six-month-long Yakezie challenge, I will be posting at least two times per week on my blog. The goal is to get my Alexa ranking down to 200,000 or below (basically, it’s a way to tell which blogs are a big deal). I’m currently ranked 698,431, so I have a ways to go.
Six months from now, I hope to have improved my blog significantly, gaining lots of readers and momentum in the process.

Congrats! I am with you on the challenge. You must be way up there in the rankings by now. Your site looks incredible and (most importantly) your content is fantastic! I started a few days ago at 320,000. Not sure what that means, but off we go!
