From time to time, I come across really cool part-time work from home positions that would be great for my stay-at-home-mom friends who want some extra cash without having to leave the house or take their kids to daycare. This is where I am going to start posting those leads as I find them.
So, without further ado… (is that spelling right? seems so…let’s go with it ;=)
Work From Home Jobs You Can Do Online
Remote Comment Moderator for the Huffington Post – If you are computer savvy, can find 6-hour stretches of time each day to work (they even have night shifts!), and can prove that you have the ability to review comments at lightning speed, then this job was made for you! There is no mention of pay, but I imagine any job that requires 6 hour time slots must pay decently. Otherwise, no one with young kids would be able to afford the childcare necessary to get that much free time in one day. With that said, this job seems perfect for the mom whose kids are in school. If the shifts worked out perfectly, you could work while the kids are at school, and be there when they leave and get home. This sweet full-time job comes with benefits.
Online Instructor @ ITT Tech – If you have a master’s degree and related experience in a variety of fields, you might be able to land a part-time teaching job with ITT Tech. To find the current openings, visit the link above, then click on “To view our job posting site…” Then, choose “Online” as the Category, leaving all other fields selected to “All.” Currently, there are teaching jobs for physics, math, paralegal, sociology, art, economics, criminal justice, and several more. The qualifications vary for each one, so I won’t detail that here. I teach for an online college, and I can vouch that this is a fun job if you enjoy teaching others and would get satisfaction out of helping others realize their dreams. The pay isn’t normally astronomical, but you can easily make $15-30 per hour depending on how efficient you are at facilitating the courses.
