For the site’s kick-off post, I asked you to send in photos of real-life mommy home offices…and you guys came through! We have five submissions from moms of all kinds – from writers to business owners, from moms with elementary school aged kids to a mom whose kids just went off to college.
The submissions were made on our Facebook page. Now the fun begins…I’m going to attach all of the submissions to this post, then put them up on Pinterest. Now through midnight EST on Sunday, February 12th, we will vote.
Every Repin or Like on Pinterest counts as one vote. The mom whose home office gets the most Repins or Likes on Pinterest will win a $10 Target gift card and an interview on What Mommy Does to showcase her business!
If you need an invite to Pinterest in order to vote, post a comment below, making sure to enter your email address next to the little envelope icon, not in the comment section itself. This way, I will be able to see your email address, but the spam bots won’t. I’ll send you an invite via email ASAP.
Here are your contestants. Let the voting begin!!!
This is the home office of Jeannie LoVullo…as you can see, she has a little helper!
Val Tobin says, “This is my office, which is a portion of the space in my holistic practice in our basement. In the foreground, you can see a bit of the Reiki table. The little table next to my desk does double duty: with clients, it serves to do readings or angel sessions; with my granddaughter, it serves as her desk, where she does her important work at my side.”
This is Vicki Chavis’ new office. According to Vicki, there are usually two dogs lying under the desk or beside it on the chaise lounge. Whenever her son’s friends come over, they lie on the lounge and chat with her. Vote for Vicki
This is the home of Amelia Ramstead Writing & Editing. A’mee says, “You can see the legs of my kiddo on the couch behind my desk, and the table in the corner is the dining room table. I’m at the end of a workday, and my work area is showing the signs!” Vote for A’mee
AND THE WINNER IS………
Michelle Fish! Congratulations, Michelle!! Be on the lookout for an interview with Michelle in the near future. I’ll be asking her, among other things, how she balances being a mommy and working from home.
