I am so excited to be sharing one of my favorite Super Bowl and college football game day appetizers with you today.
This crockpot buffalo chicken wing dip tastes amazing, and is super low-maintenance — perfect when you’re focusing on getting the rest of the house ready for game day!
Crowd Pleasing Buffalo Chicken Dip!
If you’ve never had buffalo chicken dip before, you are in for a real treat!
A creamy, cheesy, and just slightly spicy dip with real chicken shredded and mixed in. You can serve it with nachos, sliced bread, or cut up vegetables, but I opted for vegetables to make our game day treats a bit healthier.
(I went with radishes, carrots, and celery just because I wanted strong vegetables that could hold up to the thick and cheesy dip. Cucumber sticks and bell pepper sticks would also be great options.)
Party Appetizer in a Crockpot
This crockpot buffalo chicken dip keeps well in the fridge for up to three days, and I even think the flavor enhances after a day in the fridge. You can eat it cold or gently rewarm it.
However, don’t plan on having any leftovers. Everyone at my house went crazy for this amazing dip — and bonus, they ate all of the vegetables, too!
I added extra cheese at the end of making our crockpot buffalo chicken dip, but you could probably get away with using half of the amount that we did, if you’d like a lighter option, and you can opt for a reduced-calorie ranch or blue cheese dip for the dressing.
