Over the years, WhatMommyDoes has evolved from a site simply about my couponing and playdate days as a new mom, to a site to help all moms navigate financial waters and life in general.
Because I love figuring out ways to make extra money and helping other moms figure out what they can do from home to bring in extra cash, I’ve decided that one of the main focuses of my blog going forward will be helping moms figure out how to develop a side income to contribute to family finances, whether or not they work outside of the home.
How to Make Extra Income from Home
My blog is primarily for stay-at-home-moms (or someone who wants to become a stay-at-home-mom) who want to live life on their own terms and have it all in the sense that they can be with their kids during the day and still make ends meet if a second income is necessary to make ends meet.
I quit my job 13 years ago to become a stay-at-home-mom, and I took time to be purely a stay-at-home-mom for a while but eventually got the itch to use my knowledge as a CPA to help our family financially.
I dove into side hustles like writing for online magazines, teaching online college classes for the University of Phoenix, and even reselling items on eBay and Amazon.
I have so many interests, I never could pick just one thing to focus on!
It wasn’t until I found blogging (where I could simply share all of my ideas) that I found the perfect fit. My blog has evolved into the place where I share all the fun money-making ideas I come across. This way, I can make a living by helping others live their dreams. And I love it!!
If you want to know how to make money online or offline, on the side, in your spare time, on the weekends or at night when the kids go to sleep, you are in the right place! I have a decent number of extra income posts already on the blog, but it’s my personal mission to give you at least 100 ideas before I’m finished with this series.
