I don't even like couponing and EVEN I can do THIS! Lol it's pretty simple actually. I'm gonna start using coupons this way - all it takes is a free app and a solid strategy…this could work at the grocery store and Target, too!! | She also has free printable coupons on here so it's a one stop shop!

Couponing, as my regular readers will know, used to be a slight addiction for me. I had the binder going, I subscribed to four newspapers (yes, 4!), and I set aside hours per week to scour for deals and steals. I’m proud to say I’m now a reformed coupon queen. But I don’t regret it at all. One of the best things that came out of that experience is my catalog of coupon-related posts that continue to help readers. And also, I now have quite a library of tricks for saving money when it comes to all kinds of Keep Reading

When you're pregnant for the first time, it's hard to know exactly what you need for your newborn baby. Back then, I didn't even know I would eventually need formula coupons. I thought I was going to breast feed for the first year of my baby's life, like all the experts seemed to recommend. Little did I know that I would stop breastfeeding at 8 months and need 4 months worth of formula to get to the point where my little girl could drink Keep Reading

A cheerful baby in a pink sleeveless outfit is laughing, with her mouth open wide and eyes bright, as if she's just heard some fun money management tips. She is sitting in front of a window with greenery visible outside. The photo is framed by a pink border.

Before we had our first child 11 years ago, we were used to living on two really nice incomes. We both had professional jobs and no debt other than student loans and car payments, and we really had no commitments to anyone other than ourselves. We traveled wherever we wanted, ate out at restaurants often, and didn't really give much thought to saving or scrimping because we didn't feel the need to do so whatsoever. When we decided that I would be a stay-at-home-mom when our daughter was born, we were in for a super rude awakening! I went on a long journey of figuring out the money rules of Keep Reading

A close-up of a red and white bullseye target with text above it reading, "Target REDcards.... Good?? Bad?? Necessary Evil?" highlights the Target REDcard benefits on a blue background.

Discover the Target RedCard benefits - and whether or not it's worth having! A few years ago, I signed up for the Target REDcard. Each time I check out in the store, I use it. It gets me 5% off everything I purchase. Why wouldn't I? When the cashier explained that having a REDcard would automatically earn me 5% off of EVERY purchase I make at Target, I was hooked! Ever since Target significantly lowered their grocery prices a few years ago, I started doing a lot more of our everyday shopping there. I'd say I easily spend $2,000 of our yearly food budget at this store. 5% on $2,000 is Keep Reading

For all the new couponers out there, I don't want to take it for granted that you all know where to get free coupons you can print out. It took me MONTHS of couponing to realize I could also print out coupons from home. So here's my post Keep Reading

Coupons are excellent budget-balancing tools if used consistently from week to week. Groceries and household supplies are unavoidable expenses; therefore, using manufacturer’s coupons the right way can add up to big savings. Although many people like the idea of using coupons, the task of clipping and sorting them on a regular basis can be daunting. I can't tell you how many times I've clipped a ton of coupons only to make it to the checkout line without pulling a single one out because my organization system was so whack. A blue infographic titled "How Does Save1 Work?" illustrates the process: 1) Use an online coupon or special offer from Save1. 2) Save1 receives a small commission. 3) Through a feeding partner, Save1 provides a meal for a hungry child.

Learn how you can use Save1 to feed a hungry child! Good friends and long-time readers of my blog know that I have a soft spot for charities that feed hungry children.
