Before our family went to Disney World last year, we found out as many vacation planning tips as possible from friends and family.
We received so much advice (some of it conflicting) that we couldn’t possibly take it all. However, two tips we followed and were glad we did were requesting the free resources available to us.
By far my favorite thing we got before our trip was a set of customized maps showing which attractions we wanted to see in each park. Since our kids were 1, 3, and 6, we chose all the little kid rides we could.
We took those maps with us into the parks, but they were all eventually ruined by the end of our trip from going in and out of our pockets, riding in the bottom of the stroller, and getting coffee spilled on them. 🙂
To my surprise, I just found out that we can get another set of these for FREE from Disney. I am so excited about this because these maps are really nice. They look like treasure maps, and they’re printed on heavy duty paper.
I am so happy we can have unblemished copies for keepsakes as a way to remember our Disneyworld trip. Now all I need to do is remember exactly which rides were our favorites. I remember my girls bascially wanted to ride the teacups and Dumbo over and over again, so I definitely won’t forget to include those!

Free Disney Vacation Planning DVD Now Available, Too!
Something else we requested that the kids loved was the vacation planning DVD. Grab these while you can. This was such a cute video that helped out entire family get into the Disney frame of mind!
