I am compensated for this post by Bing Rewards. All opinions are my own.
Regular readers of WhatMommyDoes already know that I love sharing simple tricks for saving money and making money.
Today I found yet another way to make money. It’s through Bing Rewards, and it couldn’t be simpler!

Super Simple Way to Earn Money by Surfing the Web
Bing Rewards is a neat program that allows you to get paid doing something you already do on a daily basis – SURF THE WEB. Seriously.
I signed up so I could test it for myself, and found it really easy to do. Before I started, I looked up what kinds of “rewards” I could get by participating in the program. I went straight to my favorite reward – a $5 Amazon gift card! I shop on Amazon for all kinds of things (baby necessities, books, movies, gifts, snacks, household products, etc), so an Amazon gift card is the same as cash in my pocket!
To get an Amazon gift card, you need between 474 and 525 “points” depending on your activity level, so let’s say it’s approximately 500 points for illustration purposes.
When I signed up for the program, I was immediately credited 20 points for signing up with my existing Microsoft account (which you have if you’ve ever had an Outlook, Live, Skype, Hotmail or Xbox account).
Then I viewed the Dashboard area to see the different ways I could earn more points. What I was trying to do is figure out how long it would take me to get a $5 Amazon gift card.
Easy Way to Earn Bing Rewards Points – Desktop and Mobile Searches
What I noticed is that you are allowed to earn up to 25 credits each day by conducting internet searches from your desktop computer and mobile devices. I don’t conduct as many as the maximum number of allowed searches each day, but I could see myself earning up to 15 search credits a day just by using the internet like a regular person and as I blog.
All it would take is for me to make sure to use Bing as my homepage. I can certainly do that!
Even without inviting friends, I could reasonably expect to earn a $5 Amazon gift card EVERY MONTH. That’s $60 a year for basically vowing to use Bing to initiate my internet search sessions.
Anything else I do to earn points is icing on the cake!
Other Ways to Earn Bing Rewards Points
There are so many ways to earn Bing points it’s almost impossible to run out of opportunities to earn. After the option to earn by surfing the web, my second favorite was answering trivia questions. You get a point for each question answered, such as “Who was the top draft pick in 2013?” Super simple questions that can be answered by – you guessed it – surfing the web. J
Other Ways to Redeem Bing Points
In addition to gift cards, you can use your points to do things like enter sweepstakes or even make charitable donations. You can also redeem credits for airline miles, fuel points, discounts on movies and meals. And Amazon isn’t the only big retailer that offers gift cards through Bing Rewards. I also saw gift cards from Sephora, Starbucks, Applebees, IHOP, Dominos, Macy’s, Toys ‘R Us, and the list goes on and on!
Perhaps one of the most creative ways to use Bing Rewards? Redeem them for a FREE 1-MONTH Subscription to Hulu Plus! 🙂
