Anyone who knows me, knows that I am always trying to come up with creative ways to give the best gifts for the least amount of effort!
You could say I’m a lazy gifter with the need to be seen as a good gifter. HA
One of my favorite things to give the older kids in my life (teens, college students, etc) is COLD HARD CASH.
They love it! It’s lazy for me because it’s SO easy to do, but it’s their favorite thing so they LOVE getting it!
That’s what I call a win-win. 🙂

I don’t know a single young person from 13 years old to 22 years old in my life who doesn’t want & need cash!
Giving the gift of cash is an excellent idea when you don’t know what to get them AND you know they’ll put it to good use.
Teens & college students can always use extra money.
…especially during a time when they’re also trying to come up with funds to have fun with their friends & give gifts themselves.
When you give money in a cute & creative way, it’s a really awesome present!
It’s an especially great gift for new 16 year old drivers because they are always hard up for gas money (I know my kids are).
I used to think it would be rude, but by the reactions I’ve gotten over the years from gifting cash, I can tell you IT IS NOT RUDE! 🙂
It’s always well received, even from 21 and 22-year-olds about to graduate college.
Personally, I think this is a way better gift that something your 15 year old will think is “kinda” cool and then forget about 10 minutes later.
