It's a new year which means it's time for me to create some new coloring sheets for my blog!  I try to make at least one new pattern per year so there's a variety on here. This year I'm keeping up the Valentine's Day theme and making a set of cute LOVE HEART COLORING PAGES FOR KIDS! I've always been obsessed with cute hearts since I was a child - I not only drew hearts on everything I owned, I would wear heart clothing! I wish I had a picture of my favorite candy hearts shift dress that I had when I was 10. I wore that thing until it no longer fit with matching Keep Reading

I love 52 week challenges like this! Saving money is sooooo boring but when I can wrap a challenge around it, it's so much easier! I like how this starts with a simple goal of $1 and only ever gets up to $52. SO. DOABLE. | 52 week money savings challenge chart, 2017 budgeting ideas, fun savings plans

Recently I had some requests for an extended version of my 26-week savings plan. I decided to make this a 52-week long savings plan - it's so simple it's almost ridiculous! All you do is start with $1 in Week One. Then every week after that you add $1 to the amount you're saving for the week.  That's it! If you do this, you'll have a cool $1,378 extra in one year's time! Imagine if you did double this?!   $1,378 is plenty of money to buy all the Christmas gifts on our list when we're sticking to our Christmas budget, so that's what I'll likely use ours for. It's Keep Reading

Mainly because this is how they tell us exactly what they want for Christmas. hehe   Super Cute Idea - Writing a Letter to Santa :) Filling out this template makes life so much easier when it comes to figuring out what on earth you should tell your child to share with Keep Reading

I just love getting into the Christmas spirit. Our kids love Christmas, learning about Jesus, and of course, getting a visit from Santa Claus! My oldest is almost old enough to find out the truth...I'm sure we only have another year or two before the magic is over for her, so while it lasts, I'm hanging on to it!   If you have little ones who believe in Santa Claus, you'll need this printable. Print it out, have them fill it in, and mail it to Santa according to these directions. They'll love it!   Free Printable Christmas Wish List ~ Letter to Santa Keep Reading

In this post, I'd like to discuss my secret weapon when it comes to weekly meal planning.  It's surprisingly simple, actually.  I don't know about you, but most of my problems when it comes to meal planning stem from: A) not feeling creative enough to think of something to make and B) not wanting to make what I have on hand I find that whenever I take time to come up with a themed meal plan, I'm almost 100% likely to stick with making dinner every night Keep Reading

It's been a while since I originally posted my 26-week savings plan, so I figured it was time for an update! If you're anything like me, visualizing your goals plays a huge part in the success of a goal. When I set out to grow my blog to $7,500 per month (October 2015 earnings....income report to be posted soon!), I started with my end goal in mind. I looked at what my then-monthly income was and calculated how long it would take me to meet my goal if I simply duplicated my efforts up to that point. I visualized all of this on a whiteboard, then eventually moved it into an Excel Keep Reading
