Free Printable Meal Planning Template - This is a yellow weekly menu tracker (a blue version is also available for download). It also includes family friendly daily meal ideas…themed meal nights you can customize…I am soooo doing this!

Today I have something neat to share with you. It's a practical & pretty meal planning printable! :) If there's one thing I love more than a good plan, it's a way to put that plan in a visual format so I can refer back to it in a glance! I use it nearly every week to plan out my family's meals. It makes my job much easier to do.  I don't know about you, but having an easy to understand method of planning out my weeks makes me that much more likely to do it consistently. (versus winging it by the seat of my pants!) LOL   Free Printable Weekly Meal Plan Keep Reading

In this post, I'd like to discuss my secret weapon when it comes to weekly meal planning.  It's surprisingly simple, actually.  I don't know about you, but most of my problems when it comes to meal planning stem from: A) not feeling creative enough to think of something to make and B) not wanting to make what I have on hand I find that whenever I take time to come up with a themed meal plan, I'm almost 100% likely to stick with making dinner every Keep Reading

Eating right all the time is hard stuff for me. There isn't a huge variety of foods I like and I have diet restrictions like being gluten free (mainly) and other food intolerances. For the most part I can eat pretty well, but I do find the occasional fried food a little too enticing and packing a lunch for work takes time that I am just okay at managing. Being around kids doesn't help things either, especially when they Keep Reading

Printable Christmas menu shopping list - I'm such a planner! I'm gonna use this template to plan out my Christmas menu ahead of time!

It's a few days until Thanksgiving, and my sister-in-law and I are already discussing Christmas plans. It seems like time speeds up on you at the end of the year, doesn't it? We barely have time to breathe, and then we're on to planning the thing after next! Oh boy! So to stay ahead of the game, I decided to start thinking about our Christmas menu. We are not only having family stay at our house, but we are likely going to be hosting a church gathering on Christmas Eve. So I better get planning! :) Whenever I have lots to plan, I always throw a checklist at the issue. This occasion is no Keep Reading

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Manwich for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine. I have a secret to share – I am the WORST meal planner. There, I said it. I run a blog all about giving advice to stay-at-home-moms, and I am a horrible meal planner. Everyone’s bad at something, right? I know there are many benefits to meal planning but I've been late to the game and know I need to get better at it. Planning what my family eats before the week even begins is the most awkward thing to me. Mainly because my personal preference is to choose what I want to eat based Keep Reading
