Christmas is one of my favorite seasons! Every year I look forward to all the magic of Christmas—the lights everywhere, the festive atmosphere, and, of course, our yearly traditions!
One big tradition we do every year is to fill out a printable letter to Santa with the kids’ wishlist on it. Mainly because this is how they tell us exactly what they want for Christmas. hehe
Super Cute Idea – Writing a Letter to Santa 🙂
Filling out this template makes life so much easier when it comes to figuring out what on earth you should tell your child to share with Santa.
I used to have to search my mind and quickly think up things when the kids wanted to write to him—but no longer. Also, gone are the days of pages and pages and hours of scrawling! 😉
You could use a completely blank template, but I like this fill in the blank letter to Santa for little kids.
You can let them fill it out for themselves, or walk young ones through it verbally and fill it out for them. It’s always so fun to see how kids categorize themselves, and exactly what they ask Santa for!

How to Mail a Letter to Santa Claus
Did you know that you can really mail a letter to the North Pole? Well, close enough at least.
The USPS has this awesome Letters to Santa program, where you can address a note to Santa in Alaska, and receive one back in the mail. Isn’t that so cool? Full details and exactly where to mail it to are laid out in this post.
Have you put together your “Dear Santa” letter yet? What’s on your Christmas wishlist? Get started on it now—this is so easy to fill out and your child will absolutely LOVE it.
Oh, and make sure you pin this post so you can grab it next year too! 🙂
