I’m so excited to share this with you all—I’ve been planning this post for years it feels like (you mamas know how that goes, right?).
I know there are a lot of super fun things you can do during the holidays, and a lot of traditions, but this one is one of my favorites: writing a letter to Santa!
Okay, so I don’t write a letter, but my kids do. And it’s so cute!
I love seeing what they ask for and how their dreams change year after year. It just makes a really sweet thing to hold onto and look back on!
So, I created 4 printable Santa letter templates so you can join in on the fun—the easy way!
Free Printable Santa Letter Templates
I really think this is one of the most fun holiday traditions out there…and it checks a lot of nice-list boxes like:
✔️ Easy to do from home (i.e. no dragging toddlers out to the mall)
✔️ Sentimental (I mean….can you imagine binding up all their Santa letters and giving it to them on their 18th Christmas or something??)
Without further ado….here’s how to download!
Download the Free Santa Letter Templates
All four of the templates are certainly festive, as you can see! The first one is like a prettied up blank page—this is great for those kiddos who want to write a lot to Santa and know what they want to say.
If you have a younger child or one that needs a little prompting, the middle version would be perfect. You can guide them along and help them fill out the blanks! 🙂 The fourth one is a nice in between.
Downloading these are simple. Simply click the link above the image or on the image for the Santa letter template you’d like to use, and it will take you to the blog post where it’s housed.
How to Mail a Letter to Santa
Did you know you can actually mail a letter to Santa? Once you’ve helped your child fill out the Santa letter templates, you can send it off to him (personally, I like to make a copy of it and send the copy so I can keep the original).
USPS has been delivering letters to Santa for over 100 years now, and they estimate that they receive millions of letters yearly! Crazy, right? There’s a lot to the program, so I put together a post with all the info and Santa Claus’s mailing address for you. Make sure you check it out! 🙂 Can you imagine how excited your little one will be once they check the mail and see Santa has written to them?
How to Easily Find This Next Year
I plan on adding more templates to this post over time. Make sure you pin this post to your Christmas or Parenting board on Pinterest so you don’t lose it!
And if you have any fellow mommies who would appreciate this, please share it on Facebook or Pinterest with them! 🙂 Merry Christmas!!
