I don’t know about you, but I have big plans for 2017!! I am going to challenge myself to build up my savings and make sure I am intentionally saving for big expenditures throughout the year.
There’s nothing worse than being surprised by the cost of something you knew was coming!! (like Christmas or vacations lol)
If you want to join me, I created a few different money saving challenges we can all use.
2017 Money Saving Challenges
These challenges come with printable tracking sheets to help keep you on track.
52 Week Challenge to Save $1,378
This is a really cool challenge because it starts with $1 for WEEK 1 and only goes up to $52 for WEEK 52 yet at the very end of this reasonable challenge, you’ll have a cool $1,378 on your hands!

26 Week Challenge to Save $1,000
There’s something about a nice round $1,000 to get you motivated. $1,000 could be enough to pay for your entire family’s Christmas presents (if you’re frugal and limit who you buy for). It could also get you a really nice 3-day vacation somewhere not too far away if you shop deals and plan out the trip ahead of time.
Whatever you might need $1,000 for, this challenge will help you save up for it!

Weekly challenges help me so much! I like to use a weekly challenge to help save for big extra expenses. I used this method to stay on track saving for our frugal Disney trip. It really helped my kids get involved in saving also. They loved checking off each week knowing that we were that much closer to a fun trip!
