• contact lens solution (some recipes will use borax instead of contact solution – this is not the same as boric acid so read the label carefully!)
• food coloring
• baking soda

Then, allow your little scientists to get to work making a homemade slime in a variety of colors. It practically guarantees hours of fun!

2) Slime kits

Alternatively, you can simply purchase a slime making kit that has everything bundled together.

Thanks to the popularity of slime, there are a ton of options online!

Slime kits will include all the slime ingredients your child needs to get started making slime.

While slime activators are often sold separately, they’re also necessary for slime creation, so make sure to read the instructions carefully.
