I know these times are scary.
With schools closed and businesses laying off employees left and right, work and income are no longer a luxury many people can rely on.
I’m very fortunate that I work for myself AND my income doesn’t evaporate when people aren’t allowed to leave their homes.
While my actual product sales are lower, but ad and affiliate income are coming in, and that’s enough to pay our mortgage AND my full-time salary AND my employee’s part-time salary!
Blogging, in my opinion, is and always will be the best side job for moms. This is something I’ve built up in the in-between times.
It’s not a quick fix – – it takes many many hours to build this up, but just like 20 years ago was the best time to plant a tree and today is the second best time….today is the second best time to start a blog!
You can’t go back in time and start that blog you dreamed of long ago, but you CAN start one today and build it up from there!!
I have tons of resources to help you start your blog.

Why Start a Blog Now?
I could probably go on and on about the reasons why blogging is the best thing since sliced bread.
I probably don’t have to convince you that it’s a good idea to start a blog. You already know that.
Everything you’ve ever pinned on Pinterest was written by a blogger – and there’s more opportunity in Pinterest alone than any of us will ever have time to tackle.
Blogging is truly the wild wild west of side jobs!
I just want to encourage you by saying that EVERYBODY is scared to put themselves out there by writing their opinion on the internet.
Your first few blog posts will feel weird to write because you’ll start thinking – holy moly, everybody in the world will be allowed to read this!
But here’s the thing – in the beginning we’re not talking about everybody in the world coming to your blog. It starts with a few people then builds to a few dozen people, then a few hundred and so on.
As your confidence in your blogging grows, your audience will grow as well.
All I’m saying is – don’t wait until next year when you’re desperate for a side income to come back and read this post telling you that you should have started a blog a year ago (I have this conversation with people more often than you think!)
Blogging is – and always will be – my number one recommendation to anyone who needs a way to earn income on their own terms. I hope you decide to join me on this adventure!

You and I have so much in common. I’ve been a CPA for 24 years and have homeschooled my 4 daughters off and on for that time period. I can’t stand accounting! I started my blog back in 2015 and never really spent enough time to grow it. I’m really trying to focus on growing it now that I realize the income potential is there. Thank you for your courses and all the great resources you provide! Wish me luck on exiting the accounting and tax field. I can’t stand it much longer!!

I am about to launch my blog and your blog gives me encouragement that I can somehow use my knowledge and experience as a (once) working mom to now a sahm by helping other moms out there as well. I will definitely pay it forward in the future. Thank you.
