A little thing I like to do is give money in unique & creative ways. Today I came up with a new way to give money to someone in your life with a sense of humor.
I give you – an “EMERGENCY STASH!”
When I saw this First Aid Kit at Target (for about $3), I thought, “I would pay this much for a gift bag, so….why not?” 🙂
I just know this would be such a pleasantly unexpected surprise for any teenager or college student you know!
First, you’ll want an empty first aid kit box or case to put the gift money inside. Amazon has some cool little bags, like these:
Then, you just fill the box or bag with the money you planned to give as a gift. For teens and college students, I recommend smaller bills so they can have money for lunch on campus or even $1 bills for vending machines.
Of course, if you wanted, you could actually purchase a real first-aid kit with supplies and add the money to it. This could make the gift even more useful! Or, build your own using the empty boxes from Amazon and adding cash, bandages, aspirin, alcohol wipes, and more.
Emergency stashes don’t have to JUST be for teen gifts! You can also create your own emergency stash, putting a few bucks in a first-aid kit for your car. In the event your car is broken into, your cash will likely be safe. No one will want to steal the first-aid kit, and they would have no idea there’s money in that box!
