As a continuation of my post 10 Ways Moms Can Make Money on the Side, I decided to investigate survey websites as an option. Years ago, I kind of wrote them off as scams because I never seemed to be able to “qualify” for any surveys despite turning over my personal information up front.

These days, survey websites are more well known and after so many personal friends have mentioned them to me as a real way to make extra cash, I figured it was high time I gave them another shot. This is my quest for survey sites that actually pay.

Way to Make Extra Cash – Survey Websites

Note: Survey companies are constantly changing whether or not they’re accepting new people, so this list changes from time to time and may or may not have 5 links in it. Sorry if there aren’t five, but I’m making sure I only include the best ones (there are TONS to choose from).

If you sign up for 2 or more survey companies, I’d love to hear how your experience with each compares. If you have used one of these before, please share your feedback in the comments before you go! This will help me determine which ones are the best of the best and make sure I only provide the top companies going forward.

Survey Junkie

Survey Junkie is one of the best survey panels out there. They offer a variety of surveys, and they pay you for your time. Even if you find out you aren’t qualified for a survey you started, you will still earn something with Survey Junkie. They also pay super quickly – generally, you will receive your money the same day you request to be paid!

Register for Survey Junkie, then make sure to completely fill out your profile for the best chance to get surveys!

Harris Poll Online (a Nielsen Company)

Topics include: consumer, technical, political, etc. For every survey you successfully complete, you will receive points called HIpoints, which you will be able to exchange for awesome rewards after just doing a couple of surveys!

To get started, fill out the quick registration form here. Once you have registered, you will need to verify your email address and answer the initial quick survey. Then, you are on the way to taking surveys and redeeming rewards.

Survey Club

When you sign up for Survey Club, you’ll be contacted for local surveys and research panels in your area. Once you complete a task, you’ll earn cash that will be deposited directly into your PayPal account. You can also opt for a check or Amazon gift card if you wish. Join Survey Club >>

I’m loving these $5 signup bonus deals! Right now, Swagbucks is offering new users a $5 signup bonus as well. Swagbucks is one of my favorite survey sites because it offers so much more than surveys. They also have a grocery coupon printer that earns you points for using (and I would be using coupons anyway!), and they also reward you for simply using their search engine instead of Google.
