This year I am excited because Ebates has upped the referral bonus to $75 for referring three friends.

And the good news is anyone can do it! Don’t worry if you are reading this post after the holidays…this promo has returned every year I’ve been a member, and I expect they’ll keep doing it. So make sure to sign up so you’re on board when the emails come through.

You don’t have to be a blogger to earn the referral bonus. All you need to do is this:

How to Earn $75 from Ebates

1. Create an Ebates account if you don’t already have one.

2. Look for your Tell-A-Friend link in the dashboard after logging in. I think the normal pay is $5 for referral outside of the special bonus period. But if you wait until then, it’s $5 per referral PLUS another $15 after they complete their first Ebates transaction (i.e. get cash back by starting a shopping session on the Ebates website). I find most people sign up, then wait until the holiday deals start rolling in to make their first Ebates purchase.

3. Copy and paste your referral link onto Facebook, Twitter, or any other social media site you like.

Then just wait for the referral credits to roll in!

Why I Like Ebates ~ Real Checks!

I enjoy referring others to Ebates because it’s a site I actually use. If you’re unfamiliar with cash back sites, the basic premise is that if you initiate an online shopping session through their website instead of going to the retailer’s home page directly, they will track what you purchase and give you typically anywhere from 3%-6% of the purchase value back in cash.

The best thing I like about Ebates is that I receive my rebates and referral credits in check form. There’s something I just love about going to the mailbox and pulling out a nice fat referral check (I think it even says that on the envelope LOL). It’s a nice feeling.
