Oh, do I have something special for you!
I know how much you all love our Pumpkin Spiced Rice Krispie Treats, so I wanted to bring you another fun twist on the classic breakfast cereal squares with these TRIX TREATS!
Aren’t these Trix treats just so colorful and fun?
Super easy, super cute, and they taste great, too. My kids love these Trix Treats, and they are always a hit at class parties and birthday parties!
I think they’d even be a big hit at a summer bake sale.
This is one of those super-obvious treats that I couldn’t believe I hadn’t tried before, but I am glad that I finally did!
You could easily replace the Trix to make Fruity Pebbles treats, Count Chocula treats, Lucky Charms treats, or even Cheerio treats. Basically, no matter what your kids’ favorite cereal is, it will probably work well for this fun lunch box treat!
You could even substitute in a granola cereal, though I think Trix is a lot more fun.
I think these would go great on a dessert charcuterie board.

These Trix Treats are also peanut-free, making them a great classroom snack (just like our Pumpkin Rice Krispie treats).
The kids can help make these Trix Treats, and with only one bowl to clean, they can easily help with clean-up, too. (Or you can always whip these up as a special surprise snack – either way, the kids are going to love them!)
You hardly need a recipe because these really are super easy, but here’s my go-to measurements for the best Trix treats.
These result in ooey-gooey Trix treats that aren’t messy to eat, but are soft to bite into.

Do these need to be refrigerated after you slice? For a bake sale & can’t be refrigerated…
Lena Gott says
Yes – some of these will require you to use a cooler with ice. I guess which one you choose will depend on whether you have to send in the goodies ahead of time.
