I just spent the last week battling the flu. I knew something was up when all I wanted to do was lay down all day on Monday. For the better part of seven days, I was practically in bed around the clock. Not. Fun. At. All...... It's a good thing my blog earns income without me As I could throughout the week, I checked on my business here and there. I was pleased to find that everything was humming along without me. People were visiting my blog, taking my courses, and in general operating as if I was there (even though I wasn't). I was so thankful that I had this business Keep Reading

A spreadsheet titled "Monthly Blogging Income" displays income sources and totals in categories such as "Cash Amount," "Product," and "Received." Another section lists expenses. Totals and net income breakdowns are highlighted at the bottom, offering insights to help grow blog income effectively.

In 2014, I started taking my blog seriously.  In late spring 2015, I was starting to see a return on my efforts, and at around the point I was making $400 a month, I started using an Excel spreadsheet to track my progress. I have used it every month since then to make financial decisions related to my blog. It helps me figure out what to work on, determine what isn't working, whether or not I can afford to invest in a blogging course or hire help, and more.  I couldn't have grown my blog to where it is today without this tool! This spreadsheet was instrumental in helping Keep Reading

Hi guys. You all know I don’t like fluff. In fact, I’m kind of allergic to it. That’s why I don’t take it lightly when I recommend a product or service to you. I am so excited because the best course I’ve taken all year long (and I’ve signed up for 12 of them!) is now available to the public. This course is the one I WISH I had written. It's seriously kicking my butt all over the place. It’s called Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing and it’s written by Michelle Schroeder-Gardner of Making Sense of Cents. This course is no joke SO good. Like I think I will be able to double my monthly Keep Reading

hahaha this is awesome! This girl explains how she makes extra money on accident every month -while trying to sell one product online people end up buying other stuff! :) Sounds like something I would do. Lol | money making ideas, ways to make extra money monthly, home business idea

One of my favorite things about being a blogger is the ability to recommend my favorite products and services to my readers and get paid for those recommendations. I write blogs posts about my favorite things, say, the best books I've found to encourage my kids to eat veggies. But then something weird happens. Sometimes, I sell other things on ACCIDENT. If you're already a blogger who's part of the Amazon Associates program, you probably know what I mean. What happen is that I will refer people to one item, but they will never actually buy that item - instead, they purchase other Keep Reading
