My girls love to write notes to their daddy. I usually have them make handmade cards for Father's Day because I just love seeing their original artwork. But this Father's Day I thought it would be super cute to have them both fill out a questionnaire that we could send with Daddy to work to show off to his co-workers! Their answers are always so precious, like "My Daddy is 13 years old" and "His favorite thing to do is give me presents." :) If you would like to have your kids fill one out as well, feel free to grab my printable below. A DIY Money Pad Kit is seen with a brush, a bottle of adhesive labeled "CFS," and a pad of faux dollar bills. The pad's top bill reads, "MONEY PAD KIT," ideal for making money notepads for birthdays, graduation parties, and other events. The kit is situated on a rectangular brown surface.

I wrote a post a few years ago about how I made a money notepad gift for the older kids in my life (from my teenage nephew to my college-aged niece).  These notepads have always been a HUGE hit. I give them for graduations, Christmas, and birthdays! I have yet to meet a teenager who didn't love receiving one. :)  I mean, who doesn't want a pile of $1, $5, or even $10 bills worth $10, $20, $50 or more?! I thought my bank used to sell them, but I haven't seen them in a very long time. If your bank doesn't have money notepads, then don't worry because they are really easy to Keep Reading

Every year we ask ourselves this question. What do I get the kids for Christmas? What kind of present will they like, want, need? It doesn't need to be your own kid. I ask the same thing about my nieces and nephews and get the same questions from the grandparents. I am on the ball this year. A young child is playing on a sunlit wooden deck, holding a green hose and spraying water into the best toy—a blue and orange water table. The water table has a yellow slide and green accessories. Tall trees and greenery are visible in the background.

Today was a regular stay-at-home-mom day for me. I was at home with my just-turned 4 year old guy, and I needed to get something done in the kitchen. So I gave him the water hose and let him bust out the new water table he got for his birthday. Let me tell you - this thing is AWESOME. He played with it for a good 30 minutes before he got tired of it, which allowed me to finish up the dishes and some paperwork I've been procrastinating on for months. He was right where I could see him - in fact, I am standing inside our eat-in-kitchen to take this picture. I love it when I find a toy Keep Reading
